Company
The company was founded in the year 2013 on the premises in the Nordhafen (northern harbour) of Papenburg as a full owend subsidiary of REMONDIS GmbH & Co. KG, Region Nord.
The handling volume approved by the competent authority is 120,000 t/a, the approved storage amount is 20,000 t, and the maximum processing throughput is 60 t/h. This framework is providing HPR with a sound basis for ongoing growth in future.
Ever since the beginning, the handled amounts both in the fields of waste wood recycling and screen overflow processing have been increasing continuously and significantly.
Since 2018, the disposal of bulky waste has been added. Bulky waste includes waste from private households that is too bulky for the household waste bin. This includes, for example, furniture, mattresses and carpets. Bulky waste collection is regulated by the municipality.
The different fractions of the bulky waste are recycled as far as possible, i.e. our sorting excavator separates the recyclable materials, e.g. aluminium, wood or iron, and uses them for new products. The remaining energy-rich recyclables are processed into secondary fuels and thermally utilised, i.e. used in waste incineration plants to generate heat.
